Short Term Care
The dream was to design and build a fun and safe playspace in the heart of Brooklyn, Sheepshead Bay. Rainbow playspace is family-owned and operated by Cathy and her husband Jim. They have been part of the Sheepshead Bay community for over a decade.
Brooklyn is the most populous of the five boroughs, and Sheepshead Bay is the heart of Kings County. The community has grown tremendously in the past years. The community lacks a playspace like ours that it tailors to the neighborhood and our beloved children.
Both Cathy and Jim are in the healthcare professions. They have three young children. Cathy dealt with many pediatric patients and specialized in providing care in the neonatal intensive care unit. She’s extremely well with details and caring for her patients. She knows lives are precious and wants children to make memories with their parents in a one-of-a-kind playspace.
The mission is to enrich the children’s social, physical, and mental skills through activities and engagement in a unique place like ours. Rainbow represents hope and that life is colorful and beautiful.
